Dorian TOLA (born in 1978) assumed duties as the Director of the Albanian National Security Authority, February 28, 2017. Prior to this assignment, he has served in the Albanian Armed Forces. During his military career he was involved mainly with long term planning of the Navy and NATO cooperation and standardization.
Between 2012 and 2015 he held the position of Chief of Office of Naval Force Commander. In 2015, he was appointed Coordinator for Defense at the Situation Room, at the PM’s Office, being responsible for the Integrated Information and Statistics System of the Council of Ministers and for collecting and analyzing information on civil emergencies and crisis.
Dorian TOLA graduated from Turkish Naval Academy with a BSc in Electrical-Electronic Engineering and from University of Tirana with a BL. He holds a MA in National Security Affairs, from Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA, US and a MSc in Criminal Law from University of Tirana.
Dorian TOLA is fluent in English, Turkish and Italian.
